Now here is my application, finally:
I am Georg, CS student from Germany. I work for different IT companies since 2017. I joined Funkwhale around the time when Agate left and wasn't fast enough saying no when the project was looking for new people taking responsibilities, which is why I am involved for 2 years now, mostly focusing on development. Beyond this I am working on making the Collective easier to maintain and more open for new people, so it can get sustainable.
In my day job I am mostly working with Python and Django in a Kubernetes context, so there are some overlaps to Funkwhales stack. I am therefore mostly focusing on the Backend side of things, where I fixed bugs in the past, worked on the OpenAPI specs and improved the tooling a lot in the last two years (which is now again obsoleted by the great work of @jooola).
Beyond Funkwhale itself I am really interested to strength the ecosystem around it, for example getting the CLI application back to work and improve the mopidy Plugin.
