buwnertys gcrk Mono-container installation, I did everything strictly according to the instruction indicated on the site.
gcrk We just deprecated the container like 2-3 days ago, and did not yet updated the documentation. Please don't use mono container deployments anymore, especially for new instances.
buwnertys gcrk Ansible deployment also don't work for me, when I do this command: ansible-galaxy install -r requirements.yml following this instruction, I get the error: [WARNING]: - funkwhale was NOT installed successfully: - command /usr/bin/git clone https://dev.funkwhale.audio/funkwhale/ansible funkwhale failed in directory /root/.ansible/tmp/ansible-local-8069sdg_gry2/tmpyr4a8okn (rc=128) ERROR! - you can use --ignore-errors to skip failed roles and finish processing the list.
gcrk This looks like you are executing this as root on the server, which is not how ansible should be used. If you are not familiar with Ansible, please use our Quick Install.
gcrk Alrights, thats worrying. I'll get myself a test bed and will come back to you with questions asap
gcrk What operating system are you running this on? Are you executing the commands as user with sudo or as root?
buwnertys gcrk I use Ubuntu 20. I tried to use the commands as user with sudo and as root. I can give you a list of actions: Reinstall server on hosting. Connect to server by ssh as root. sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install curl sudo sh -c "$(curl -sSL https://get.funkwhale.audio/)" Enter your desired Funkwhale domain (e.g funkwhale.example): *ip address* Enter the username for the admin account (leave empty to skip account creation): admin Enter the email used for the admin user (and Let's Encrypt certificate): *email* The complete installation will setup Nginx, Certbot, PostgresQL and Redis. Do you want customize what is installed? [yes/NO]: NO Do you want to proceed with the installation? [YES/no]: YES Then I catch the error: [2/4] Downloading Funkwhale playbook dependencies [WARNING]: - funkwhale was NOT installed successfully: - command /usr/bin/git clone https://dev.funkwhale.audio/funkwhale/ansible funkwhale failed in directory /root/.ansible/tmp/ansible-local-8312n_esji_t/tmpkl06er8h (rc=128) ERROR! - you can use --ignore-errors to skip failed roles and finish processing the list. I can provide remote access to the server if it can help in any way.
gcrk @buwnertys Sadly I have no Ubuntu at hand to test, if you could join our matrix channels we could talk about access to your server so I can have a look. Not sure when I am able to get to this, though.
