Should we drop ou mastodon instance ?

Our Mastodon was at https://fosstodon.org then it moved to https://tech.lgbt then to https://social.funkwhale.audio/@funkwhale

Maybe the idea to self host wast to be able to reach out https://tech.lgbt and fosstodon at the same time. Because tech.lgbt seems to blocks fosstodon. By having our how instance we avoid political issue and can choose ourselves with who we want to speak our not.

But maintaining an instance is work and money. So maybe we could delete it.

If we delete where to go ?

Personally I think we should have our own instance because funkwhale was create by a queer and it foss and I don't want to have to choose.

https://toot.paris is a small, mostly queer instance, that shouldn't be blocked anywhere. Maybe that'd be a good place?

It's hosted by French friends from Paris (which is in the title, haha!)
The instance is stable, hosted on a small k8s cluster at OVH.
But it's Paris-first, more than French-first, so 🤷
