The landing page looks quite empty and does not show the explore link in the bottom left.
The dev.funkwhale.audio/explore/ route remains private to date.
It works when being logged in, but there would be no easy visual cue in the UI to lead oneself there after login to a specific page. The trending tab is linked from dev.funkwhale.audio/ when authenticated.

This could eventually be a hindrance for many to discover the code and associated repositories.
dev.funkwhale.audio/funkwhale/ and dev.funkwhale.audio/funkwhale/funkwhale remain accessible for anonymous visitors.
