iOS Apple no playback in browsers

Hi all,

I'm wondering why the playback on iOS devices does not work. But on PC and Android.

from the nginx access.log:

Nothing in error.log

On the song page I can see:

"the track can not be loaded you may have connection issue"

OS: Younohost latest
Funkwhale: 1.4.0
iOS: all and every device and Browser (Firefox Klar, Brave, Safari)

Any idea how to fix the playback on iOS?
Where are the songs stored anyhow? Can't find in "music" nor a "library"?

@stullekovski Playback on iOS devices usually works, even though there are some issues, eg https://dev.funkwhale.audio/funkwhale/funkwhale/-/issues/2280

Can you tell me more about the files you are trying to play back?

It highly depends on how you uploaded the tracks and how your instance is configured.

Hi, thanks for your answer.

My Funkwhale is still in progress and test.
e.g. that song (like the others too) is not working on any iOS devices:
https://punkwhale.de/library/albums/3

I didn't change any special config. Neither Younohost, nor Funkwhale.
And some other Funkwhale instances are working. Mh..
But soundship.de has the same behavior.

Looking forward for a fix or tip. 🙂
