LDAP user unable to log into Subsonic API with Subsonic API Password.

I've got two users.

One LDAP generated, one non-ldap.

Both have Subsonic API passwords generated with User->Settings->Subsonic API password->"Request a new password"

The non-ldap user can log in to both Clementine and Amperfy via Subsonic.
The LDAP user can NOT log in.

I'm not sure where to start debugging as the containers don't seem to have any relevant information.
