See what libraries a pod has access to

I know how to add a library that my pod does not have access to yet, in order to grand access to this library to any member of the pod (including myself). But how can I see a list of libraries that my fellow pod members have already added. I know that browsing the Artists and Albums in the Explore category will show me the content of these added libraries but how do I actually see a simple list of all the libraries that are there? or is it worthless to have?

If you're a pod admin, you can see a list of all known libraries on your pod by going to the libraries page in the library management menu.

Select the wrench icon in the top left to open the Administration menu
Select Library
Go to the Libraries tab

You can also get there quickly by just going to https://<yourpod.url>/manage/library/libraries (replacing yourpod.url with your pod's actual URL). You can filter these results by visibility, name, or just return a list of local libraries by entering your pod's URL (e.g. open.audio) as a search term.

For non-admins, there's not currently a good way to get an overview of libraries. It's something we want to improve upon with the replacement to libraries: collections. We have a thread for this here if you're interested in learning more.

Thanks Sporiff then we need Collections! your linked post is almost a year old.
At this time I'm confused that, as a non-admin, I can grant my pod access to remote libraries but have no visibility on what libraries my pod already has. I'd prefer you just revoke my permission to add remote libraries + remove this option from my menu.

Despo Yes the post is quite old and has a lot of conversations happening on it, but those conversations have resulted in a feature specification we're pretty happy with, so we will start working on it at some point soon!

Each user can follow different libraries if they want to. If you follow a library that another user is already following, it won't duplicate that library on your pod, just give you access to the content (in the case of private libraries) and put them in your followed libraries list. Once you've added a library, you can select the Get started option under remote the Follow remote libraries section to see a list of all the libraries that you follow as a user.

The admin can see a list of all libraries known to the pod as mentioned above, but each user can see the libraries they specifically follow.
