Hello everyone.
The last months were pretty busy for me. We had to rush the last NLNet Funding, and we made it. After it I tried to ship 1.3.0 asap. And there was an influx of new users to the Fediverse, which didn't hit us that hard but still. Besides this work was busy and there was a lot of illness over the winter. I don't want to complain, since all this was my decision and I could have cut some tasks. However, I didn't and it grew a bit over my head. I paused my studies. I paused some hobbies. I neglected tasks I agreed to do. Now I came to the conclusion this won't work in the long run, so there are some changes to be made and I want to be transparent about it.
The first huge thing which will hopefully help a lot is that I quit my job in favour of working for Funkwhale. The voting is still open, so its about the Collective to hire me or not. But it looks good. This will already make a huge deal.
Additionally, I will be less present around the chat and gitlab. I removed the related apps from my phone to allow me to have a break. This obviously means I am way less around for chats, support, answering questions in the dev channel and more. But I think it will work out, the community is big enough that someone might pick up the question. If not, I'll try to get back to it timely.
I think those two actions will do the job, I'll watch how it works. Further adjustments might be made.
