lamp Should tracks be uploaded in reverse order or forwards order? Will Funkwhale respect track order if this is pre-written into the audio file's metadata (i.e. 'Track 1 of 10' etc.)?
Sporiff lamp Yes, if the file metadata includes disc numbers and track positions, then Funkwhale will respect this.
lamp Hmm. That's not what I've found. FunkWhale seems to stick to the upload order and (in my experience) ignores the track order metadata.
lamp Apologies to Sportiff, I was wrong. Funkwhale does indeed respect track order metadata if the tracks are uploaded into a pre-made Album (Library). My mistake.
